Room 401, Saturday Late Morning

Alec had decided to cut his training short by a couple of hours today: while he was training, he noticed that the dorms were abnormally noisy, and he started to think that maybe there was something going on that required his attention. But he didn't notice anything unusual on his way up to his room, so he went to take a shower thinking that he'd been wrong to abbreviate his salle time after all.

Then he came out of the shower, returned to his room, and found a preteen girl sitting on the floor by his bed, examining the arrows he had stashed in a gym bag under the bedframe.

"Excuse me--" he began in a huff, fully ready to berate Victor for letting a kid come in here, but she cut him off, introduced herself as his and Chuck's alternate universe daughter, and asked if she could have a glass of water, please.

Alec rubbed his face and went to get the requested water. Fandom.

"Do you have anything I could borrow?" Angela requested. Demanded. A little of both. The hint of Australian in her voice helped muddle the issue.

"What kind of 'anything'?" Alec was pretty sure the answer was going to be no, though. "Weapons?"

"I want to train, and dad's..." She waved her hand around, fingers curved like a claw while she pulled an expressive face. "...Doing his thing."

Well, she looked old enough to train. That wasn't his issue. "Anything I have will probably be too heavy for you," Alec pointed out. "There's practice equipment downstairs, though. I'll take you."

He picked up his keys and headed for the door. "Chuck kicked you out?"

"Ugh, yeah," Angela muttered, getting up to her feet. "I don't know what his problem is."

Alec privately thought Chuck had reacted quite sensibly. Babysitting was no passion of his either.

"He has stuff on his mind, I guess," he mumbled. And aware though he was that this was a dick move, he added, "I actually have things to do this weekend too, so I'm sorry if I can't give you that much attention either. Maybe Aunt Isabelle has some free time today."

Just throw your sister under the bus, Alec. Real nice.
