"Well." Alec said, sounding awkwardly stilted, "Thank you for the reminder."
He uncrossed his arms. Sparkle padded over, apparently just to rub the side of his head against Alec's hand.
After a moment or two, he decided a subject-change was called for.
"Who's the fox?"
